On December 4th, the front page of the 02 edition of People's Daily published a special article titled "Promoting Industrial Upgrading through Independent Innovation in Jiangsu". XCMG Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factory became the highlight. XCMG focuses on the "dual carbon" goal and deeply implements the intelligent transformation, digitalization, and networking of the "Number One Project" to build a green and digitalized loader manufacturing base, and create zero-emission XCMG new energy loaders to help customers achieve green transformation. On November 15th, XCMG Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factory, an internationally leading new energy loader production line, was completed and put into operation. The brand-new XCMG XC975-EV electric loaders lined up neatly and were sent to various places from here. "One new energy loader works an average of 3,000 hours per year, which can reduce 32.3 tons of carbon emissions and 118.35 tons of carbon dioxide emissions," said Zhai Genli, director of XCMG New Energy Product Research Institute. "Compared to fuel costs, electricity costs can save 100 yuan per hour. Over the entire 8-year lifecycle, it can save the company a cost of 1.5 million yuan." The report pointed out that by targeting a new path of industrialization and promoting industrial energy conservation and carbon reduction, Jiangsu has successively issued action plans for energy conservation and technological transformation in the industrial sector, as well as the implementation plan for carbon peaking in the industrial sector and key industries. It will implement 50 key projects for energy conservation and carbon reduction each year and improve the energy efficiency level throughout the entire process. At the same time, Jiangsu will also improve the green manufacturing system, accelerate the cultivation of green factories, green parks, and green supply chain management enterprises, and explore the construction of zero-carbon factories and parks.
